NTR Biopic, Now Called Kathanayakudu, Gets A Release Date

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s biopic is one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2019
The NTR biopic directed by Krish Jagarlamudi will release in two parts titled Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu.

Nithya Menen has a number of projects in the pipeline including the biopic of late chief minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha. She will also be seen in a multilingual one-character film titled Pranaa.

The film began on 29 March 2018 at Ramakrishna Cine Studios, Hyderabad. Nandamuri Balakrishna dressed up as Duryodhana and started with his father's famous dialogue Yemantive Yemantive from the movie Daana Veera Soora Karna (1977). Vice President Venkaiah Naidu given clap and K. Raghavendra Rao directed the first shoot. Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Veteran actress Jamuna, Allu Aravind, Dr. Rajashekar, Jeevitha Rajashekar, Boyapati Srinu several industry stalwarts have graced the occasion. The film was releasing on 9 JANUARY 2019. Initially Teja was announced as director of movie but he walks out of the project due to creative differences with Balakrishna.Later Krish was replaced As the Director By Balakrishna.now n.t.r kathanayakuda was releasing on 09 jan 2019

 In Kathanayakudu, Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen playing the role of his father and actor-politician NTR. The biopic also features Rana Daggubati, who will be seen playing the role of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who will be seen portraying the role of NTR's on screen wife Basavatarakam.
